2011 Rev. Marsha Mundy

Rev. Marsha Mundy, is the pastor of a vibrant community of believers at the Evergreen Anglican Community in St-Lazare.

Marsha was ordained in 2002 and has worked in various positions within the Anglican Church .  Professionally, Marsha has worked as chaplain with adults and children, with mentally challenged individuals and with youth protection.

Marsha has always been involved in serving the community through volunteering and began doing so at the age of 14.  These experiences, and others, have prepared her for the ministry to which God has called her.

2010 Elaine Poutney

ELAINE POUTNEY, a counseling psychologist with a Master’s degree from McGill University, has worked as a professional counselor at Concordia University and the University of Toronto.
A lifelong interest in student ministry led her to serve with IFES Eurasia in Ukraine and Moldova.  In the former Russian Republics, she traveled widely as a teacher, consultant and mentor for emerging leaders.
Elaine is a recognized inspirational speaker and Bible teacher within the North American Christian community, awarded the National Leadership Conference Leading Women Award for Ministry in 2002.  She is also a regular contributor to daily Bible study notes for “Day By Day” published by Bible Reading Fellowship in England.
Elaine is married to Michael, an Anglican Priest and former Principal of Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, has two grown daughters and three grandchildren.  When not traveling Elaine loves long walks and playing tennis.

2009 Vina Sweetman

Vina Sweetman is the President of the Isaiah 40 Foundation. For over 40 years she has been involved in prayer counselling, education, and training, for people from all walks of life. Her ministry and teaching is designed to provide a deeper insight into healing, and to create awareness of God’s call to all to be channels of His healing love.

2008 Patricia Stokes

Many of you may remember Pat. She served on the AWARE committee, before moving to England several years ago.  She was born in Reading , England, and is presently living in Devon. From 1967 to 2001, she lived in Montreal and taught music for 7 years and then taught all subjects to Grade 6! In her spiritual life she has been a Lay Reader since 1983. She has participated in: Aware, Cursillo, Silent retreats, EFM, ministries in Seniors’ Residences, prisons, former member of Diocesan Council. At present she is busy in a five point parish, and giving talks on various subjects – Julian of Norwich, St. Ignatius, Agatha Christie[!!] The influence of Jesuits in World History… Her passions are groups of friends, Music, Drama, Reading, Birds, Bridge, Travel…
