OUR BEAUTIFUL BANNERS … LABOURS OF LOVE

Each year, a new banner is created for the weekend incorporating the new theme.  Each has taken its creator many months of careful, prayerful, preparation and planning.  Please take the time to have a special look at each one. This year’s banner “Bridging the Gap“,  was created by Barbara Smith of Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal.

 It is an AWARE tradition that, at the end of the weekend, a draw is held and the ‘winner’ of each banner gets to take it to her home church to put on display there for the year!  The first Banner, “Walk in Love” has a permanent home at Isaiah 40.  All the banners must be brought back to the AWARE weekend each year for redistribution.
